HOT WATER BOILER ROOM BASICS

This course reviews basic requirements for proper boiler installation of both Cast Iron and Condensing boilers. During the session we will discuss the following:

• ·       combustion air requirements
• ·       proper near boiler piping practices
• ·       air elimination
• ·       proper system pressurization
• ·       expansion tank selection
• ·       basic pipe and circulator sizing
• ·       Buffer tanks
• ·       Micro zones
• ·       Mixed temperature Systems

This course covers material necessary for the apprentice as well as the Master Plumber. Proper piping practices eliminate most problems and prevent unnecessary call backs. There is something for every skill level.
